Chris, my husband, and I have always greatly enjoyed outdoor adventures and have taken numerous photos throughout the years. In l999, I began watercolor painting. I so wanted to relive those outdoor moments and found that with painting I could get very close in doing so. Realism is my joy and objective in painting. Vivid colors, rocks with all the texture and variation, as well as water especially waterfalls are my favorite subjects. I retired in 2009 and spend much of my time participating in adventures as well as paint, continue with my beadwork projects, and am trying to advance my metal jewelry making skills.I am an original member of the Jemez Artisans Gallery in Jemez Springs, N.M. which was founded in March 2010. I have had watercolor shows in Springfield and Eugene, Oregon, where we lived for 30 years before retiring to Jemez Springs, N.M. in 2009. I was selected and participated in Albuquerque's Miniature Show of 2011; as well as a show at Fuller Lodge, Los Alamos, N.M. in 2011.

My paintings are currently being shown in Shangri La West, Jemez Springs, N.M. and inThe Blue Portal Gallery in Albuquerque, N.M. In the Jemez Artisans Gallery, I have watercolor paintings, beadwork (earrings, necklaces, bracelets and barrettes), and metal jewelry for sale.
